Sir, my salary heads does not have anything as conveyance / travelling exp, hence wanted to know whether i can claim 800*12 Rs. 9600/- towards conveyance exemption in my returns and furthermore during last fy 11-12 I did not show my HRA to my company, in that case can I claim the HRA exemption now

Conveyance allowance deduction is only available through employer and only if this component is part of your salary.
