I am facing some difficulties in filing my E-return for 2015-16 and for that I seek your valuable guidance.
I am a salaried employee and fall under ITR-1. When I am trying to e-file my return, I can easily find the field prescribed for showing the Principal component of the Home Loan amount (U/s 80C). But for the INTEREST paid on Home Loan amount (My Form 16 says it is U/s 24), I am unable to find any suitable field.
Just for your information, this is the second Home Loan of mine for the second flat. The First Home Loan was repaid long back and also the First Flat was sold out in 2011 at the time of buying this second flat. In short, this second flat is the only property that I am having since 2011 and it is self-occupied.
Can you please tell me where should I show the interest component of my Home Loan in the E-file ITR-1 Form?
