EPF and PRAN SAME??

hello I was working in a private company where I was having an EPF no. Now I am working in govt org where pran no is necessary. So can I use my previous EPF no as my pran no?? If not then do I have to withdraw my amount in EPF account or can it be tranferred to new generated PRAN No.??

They are not same and are not linked.

As of now, there is no process of transfer from EPF to NPS, so you would need to withdraw EPF.

If you don't withdraw, it would stop generating interest after three years of last transaction.
