I own a flat for my residence. Now I have spend around 30000/- towards its maintenance (repairing, colour, etc). Can I claim tax deduction for the same? What is the tax rule regarding this.
Please advise.

Unless you have taken home loan for such repairs, there is no tax deduction available for such self occupied property.
