ECNR is mentioned

Hi Mr. Pankaj,

I have an ECNR mentioned passport on my 2nd last page and it has a validity till 2020

I am suppose to travel to Bangkok, please let me know if I have to have a POE clearance.

Travel purpose is primarily business and for 2/3 days maximum...where as Thailand is Visa on Arrival...so in tht case i dont need a company letter and invitation, however as per my ECNR status can i be stopped at Bangkok airport for stepping in??

As you are not travelling on employment visa, ECR/ECNR status on passport won't matter.

I made a mistake, it will ECR mentioned in my passport not ECNR...however your answer seems to be in sync with my questions.
