I am trying to pay Self Assessment Tax(300) for my short term capital gain on mutual fund for FY 2012-213.

I am getting below error, I have selected AY = 2013-2014.

"Assessment Year cannot be greater than the current financial year for the type of payment selected by you".

Can you tell me how can I pay tax? also is it required to pay tax before 31 March, 2013 for my capital gain?

Self assessment tax can only be paid after financial year has ended. Please select (100) ADVANCE TAX and not self assessment tax from available inputs.
