EMIGRATION CHECK REQUIRED FOR VISIT VISA VIA OMAN

Hi Pankaj,

I am working in Germany on a resident permit visa. I have applied visit visa (schengen visa) for my parents. The passport of both of them is mentioned as Emigration Check Required. They will be visiting Germany and have to transit in Muscat(OMAN). Does they need ECNR stamp to visit Germany. Kindly help me.

They won't require ECNR stamp because

  1. They are not going for employment.
  2. They are not actually going to Oman, its just transit.
  3. ECNR is not required for Germany.
