Conveyance Allowance and Petrol reimbursement

Dear Sir, Can we show Conveyance Allowance and Petrol reimbursement as two components in the salary break up, so that employees who would like to avail the benefit of petrol reimbursement can utilize it and other employees without self owned- car can claim conveyance allowance of Rs.800/- pm.

Yes, it can be shown. In that case only one component out of these would become non-taxable for an employee.
