Gratuity Eligibility

Hello,

I have been working with a company for the past 7 years & 8 months. Recently in view of an opportunity that came across I have chosen to put down my papers with the current company.

I would like to know would I be paid my Gratuity even though it was never mentioned in any of my appointment/offer letter issued to me right from day one.

Gratuity implementation is compulsory for any establishment for more than 10 employees. For any employee who have completed five years, employer is liable to pay Gratuity amount as per Gratuity Act.
