I am a Professional getting 50,000 wired as a Consultant. I dont have any deductions. And want to apply for a Housing Loan of 22 - 23 lacs.

Kindly, let me kow how much income tax do I need to show and pay for a Housing Loan of 22 Lacs ..?

As such there is no minimum income tax payment eligibility criteria for home loan approvals.

What they consider is your in in-hand monthly income and existing liabilities (loan etc). They would need income tax return, form-16, bank statement and salary/payment slips for income proof.
