dear pankaj' doing great job.we are getting very vital information thru ur blog,as u knw on official site as well as passport office no one is helping us nicely.so plz keep it up bro. now my 2 qerry are recently in the month of jan 2012 i got my new passport in which it has ecr on 2nd page.thow as per new guideline if a person is having 10th or above qualification is eligibale for ecnr,so what to do? 2)i have to go china for training for seven days.is my ecr status may do any problem?plz help me to find the right way.do i require ecnr for this trainning for 7 days? kindly guide me.waiting for ur reply.

- While submitting passport application you should have applied for ECNR too and submitted supporting documents. If it was done, you should contact passport office for correction of same.
- For visiting China, ECNR is not required and thus you won't have any issue with ECR status passport.
