Confusion over selection of large cap funds

Hi pankaj

I got a great confusion over selecting a large cap fund.pls guide me

  1. Franklin India Bluechip Fund (G)----http://www.fundsupermart.co.in/main/research/viewHTML.tpl?articleNo=903.... As all knw this is a very good fund performed well from its inception

2, ICICI Prudential Focused Bluechip Equity Fund - Growth... only 3 yrs but top rated fund.

Instead of goi in the later with seeing its good return for the past three years is it better to go the former?

Both have shown similar returns in last one year. You may pick anyone of these. Since its inception, ICICI one has better record than Franklin's.

But if you consider age factor, you should go with Franklin bluechip.
