New pension system account opening form does have a field for providing PAN details. But its not mandatory to provide same.

On basis of past returns, Kotak and ICICI were good in E class, and SBI in class G and C. Your percent distribution should be dependent on your age. You can choose active choice which will automatically divide based on your age.

Returns from NPS are not fixed and will depend on market conditions.

At age of 60 years, you would need around 40-50,000 per month pension on basis of inflation. And to support you for next 25 years after retirement you would need atleast 1 crore rupees at retirement.

If you save 5-6000 per month till 60 years age with 10% return, you will be able to make it.

If you want to nominate more than one person in your NPS account, you will have to provide a percent share of them. Say, wife 50%, children1 25%, children2 25%. Total sum should be 100%.
