I own a piece of land 500 square yards. Do i need to pay any tax on that land to the local authorities? I dont have any construction there.Its just lying vacant. Bought from a property dealer.

There should not be any income tax/property tax on vacant land.
But these local taxes policies differ from state to state. I would request you to confirm same from your local state housing board and municipal corporation.
