Hi Sir, Due to delay in form 16A from the company my husband did not file the ITR. He is supposed to file ITR4. Could you let me know what the due date for ITR4 as specified u/s 139(1). If you provide link to see the speacified section also it is fine

Last date to file return in non audit cases for FY 2010-11 was 31st July 2011 and for Audit case due date is 30 Sept 2011.
He can still file income tax return before 31st March, 2012 but he will have to pay interest under section 234A, B and C if there is any tax pending. Refund if any due may not even paid due to late filing.
