Expemptions under Income Tax DTC

Hi,

Pls clarify on the status of the expemptions like a) HRA b) Medical Allowance of Rs 15000 c) Professional Development d) Convenyance/Transport Allowance e) Driver salary/Fuel/Car Maintianence

Are all the above mentioned allowance will be exempted after DTC implementation.

This are all employer provided benefits and most likely would be continued even after direct tax code is implemented. As of now, DTC draft does not any mention of these.

We will have to wait till Feb, 2012 when Budget is announced in parliament.
