I'm new to this. I would like to start investing to get more return. I'd heard about Top 200 fund hdfc bank. Is it good? Or if there is any other option to get more benefit? I'm capable of investing around 1000-2000 INR per month, that to not for a long time. Around 1-2 year. Please suggest.

HDFC top 200 is one of the best fund in Large and Mid cap category. You may continue with it if you want to invest in this category.
Don't invest in equity for short term (less than three years) and Stay invested in this fund for at-least five years.
If you are looking for somewhat safer equity mutual fund, you may consider Large cap mutual funds like DSPBR Top 100 equity and Franklin India Bluechip.
