transfer of CPF to NPS

I have served in an autonomous oganisation under the ministry of HRD Govt. of India, I joined the organisation in the year 1999 and was contributing towars CPF till August 2007. I joined another autonomous organisation under the ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India through proper channel on 4th September 2007 and contributing towards NPS w.e.f OCtober 2007 to till date. My Question is : whether my CPF contribution w.e.f 1.4.2004 can be transfered to NPS or not.... kindly clarify

As of now, amount cannot be transferred to New Pension Scheme(NPS) account.
