Dear Pankaj, I traveled to North East (Sikkim) with famlily in April 2011. My itinary was as follows: Onward journey- Pune-Delhi-Bagdogara (by Air) Bagdogra - Gangtok (by Taxi) Gangtok to North sikkim (Lachen, Lachung, Nathula Pass) and back (by Taxi) Return Journey- Gangtok to Bagdogra (Helicoptor by Sikkim tourism dept) Bagdogra-Delhi-Pune (by Air) Q1: Can I claim for journey from Bagdogra to Gangatok by helicopter under LTA reimbursement? Q2: In north east, due to all mountains, the cost of taxi is very high and significant amount goes into taxi expenditure. If we provide the receipts for the same, is it okay for LTA reimbursement? Or is there any specific rate/rule with respect to taxi rates/kms or per day? asked Jun 12 '11 at 10:43 by sharmadr 1●2●2●4 |
