Hello, I have one query about sale of agriculture land. My mother purchased one piece of agriculture land in 1984, out of that piece of land she sold a small piece around 500 sq yard, in 2018. The buyer showed it as a residential plot in the sale deed, But since it was carved out of a large agriculture land so how should it be treated as, a residential plot or an agriculture land? and why?
