Hi Pankaj, I have a small query. I have never claimed for LTA. I want to claim for my last year november trip. From 22-28 November. I have taken leave from 22-26 Nov 2010. But trip was from 22-28th November. 27th/Nov (Sat) and 28th Nov (Sunday)being comapany holiday ,i have not taken leave in these two days.i returned on 28th Nov. can i claim for Air travel expenditure on 28th No 2011.? pls. suggest. asked May 22 '11 at 03:33 by manish_TAX 1●1●1●1 |
If your salary structure has component for LTA, you can claim the same with your employer. If public holiday or weekend comes in between, there won't be any issue. As you were already on leave from 22-26 Nov, you can claim for travel done on 22-28th Nov.
