EPF and NPS

Is it necessary for me to continue EPF if I join NPS

One Answer:

As of now Govt has not declared NPS as replacement for EPF. Both continue to live as it is.

In case of employees where Basic Pay and DA component exceeds 6500/- per month, EPF is optional. You may ask your employer to use this rule, if you don't want EPF.
