ECNR for USA

Hi,

I intend to travel to USA for businnes purpose. I have a ECR stamp on my passport. I have heard Pune Passport office has stopped giving ECNR stamps. Is that true? Please let me know. And yes on my passport its written ECR required for North America.

First, you don't need ECNR stamp for traveling to USA.

Second, now ECNR stamp is not affixed on existing passports, but new passport is issued with ECNR status.
