Medical Bills

My wife has undertaken the below tests at an infertility center. Can i know if this can be submiited to my employer for medical reimbursement (1250/-pm)

  1. Consultation fee: Rs 500
  2. Blood Test for TB: Rs 4000
  3. Ultrasonic scan: Rs 1250

Am i permiited to submit the bills for these and claim tax benifit. Please suggest at the earliest.

I believe these can be submitted to employer for medical reimbursements.

Only expenses on general items like Cosmetics, Baby Foods, Horlicks & Personal products etc., are not eligible for exemption.
