Service tax exemption for small scale service providers

Sir, A small scale service provider whose turnover for the period 10-11 is 1050000, and the total receipts against the amt is 900000. For the financial year 11-12 the total turn over of the service provider becomes 1500000. Please tell on which amt the service provider has to pay the service tax for the financial year 11-12. Is he eligible for service tax exemption of rs.1000000?

The turnover in the previous year 2010-11 exceeds Rs. 10 Lakhs and therefore Service Tax for the F/Y 2011-12 is payable on the whole amount i.e 15 Lakhs..
