Salary Structure

Our Salary Structure Composes of: BASIC- HRA- CONVEYANCE-800/pm for all employees PROF.DEVELOPMENT ALLOWANCE-1250/pm for all employees SPECIAL ALLOWANCE- MEDICAL ALLOWANCE-1250/pm for all employees

Your Tax Calculator excel sheet does not have any professional development allowance, so where do i put this component to be true to the tax department and also compute I.TAX correctly?

DA is not a component of salary for best known reason of to increase the HRA exemption component and thus reduce tax burden.

SPECIAL ALLOWANCE i have included in GRADE/SPECIAL ALLOWANCE. Is there any separate tax calculator?

Kindly Advise.

For now, you can use periodical journals field to put value for professional development allowance. We would add separate fields for prof. development allowance soon.

Special allowance does already have field for it in the name of Grade/Special/Management/Supplemementary Allowance.

sir i have downloaded the new excel from your link, but why did you consider Prof Development Allowance in non-taxable rows with bill submission? Even if you consider for other organizations, if i remove from left hand side row, it remains in the right hand side and is protected. kindly remove the same as it is totally taxable and no bills can be submitted for same. i will wait for the revised excel sheet.

If you want to make it taxable, just remove value from cell C53. Professional development component is generally a non taxable component with employer on submission of actual bills.
