House Rent Allowance if paying rent of two houses

Hi, If I am having two houses on rent, in one I live during the weekdays and other one I live during weekends. Can I claim HRA on both of them or I have to choose one of them for HRA.

You cannot claim exemption for house rent allowance for more than one houses. You will have to choose one from rented houses.

I don't want to take the claim of both the houses but can I claim one of even if I stay for 10 days per month in the second house. Actually my parents are staying in another city not very far from noida, I live with them during the weekends and am paying rent there, so can I claim that house for income tax rebate.

You can claim house rent as non taxable for house in which your are parents are living, but it should be at a commutable distance from your office.
