new pension scheme does not guarantee a fixed amount of pension. Its just an retirement investment plan in which you can invest into a mix of equity, debt and government bonds. Actual returns would be based on amount of investment, tenure, ratio into these three, fund managers chosen and their performance.
At the end of 60 years, you would be returned with 60% of value as lump sum and rest you will have to buy an annuity plan for getting pension.
