Staff Salary

Hi Pankaj,

I work for a business and manage one of its branch, my employer sends salaries of the branch staff in my account, I receive 80,000rs every month which I have to distribute in cash amongst the staff.

Please tell me do I have to show this in my income? or is it correct to receive these salaries in my account?

Please guide.

It not a good practice to get salaries for other employees in your personal account. Income tax department may raise questions on these funds.

Ask your company to open a bank account in company's name and transfer money there. Cash can be withdrawn from there and paid to other employees. This cash would be shown in company expenses.
