Leave Travel Allowance

I am eligible for 9000/- p.a. LTA. But now as I have resigned from my current organization and will join another organization after serving the notice period.

So can you please let me know what will happen to that amount of LTA which I have not claimed? Will it be paid along with the F&F Settlement after deducting the necessary tax on that amount or the company will not pay that amount as it is part of the reimbursement?

Regards, Jyoti

If you have not claimed LTA amount and its a part of your CTC, then your employer would pay this after deducting the applicable taxes at the end of financial year or in full in final statement, whichever comes earlier.

Hi, Thanks a lot for the prompt response. What if LTA is a part of the Reimbursement, will it be paid in F&F or we will have to claim only before the exit.

It would be paid in FnF even if you claim for it.
