LTA claim with private rental taxi

Dear Sir

  1. I have given LTA claim with taxi bill from private rental car operator. Since it was package tour all toll and driver TA/DA is kept with car operator. Employer is asking for driver duty slip and toll tax receipt. Is it mandatory to submit duty slip or just taxi receipt is sufficient.
  2. In case of app based cab booking for outstation services where ebill is sent on mail, is it acceptable for valid LTA receipt.

Employer would be asking for toll tax and driver duty slips to validate that travel actually happened. People can get fake taxi receipts made, but toll tax receipts mentions datetime and location, so they may be required to support your claim.

E-bills should be acceptable and you only need to give employer printout of same.
