I have travelled from Pune to Kochi by air (Spicejet) and then by hired taxi to Thekkady. Total cost of air and taxi comes well below economy class fare of Air India from Mumbai to Kochi (as there is no direct Air India flight from Pune to Kochi). Will the entire travel cost be exempt as it is well within national carrier Air India fare? Or actual air fare paid for Pune to Kochi plus first class AC train fare from Kochi to Thekkady would only be entitlement?
