ECNR Stamp Check for passport issued in year 2006

Queries,

My passport was issued in the year Sep-2006. I don't see any ECR / ECNR stamp in my passport. Now I have to travel Qatar for a business trip. Do I need to apply for a ECNR stamp?

If I have to apply ECNR stamp, can you please share the procedure & timeline.

As your passport does not have ECR endorsement, it should be treated by default as with ECNR status.

So you don't need to apply for ECNR status.

How does a ECR stamp reflects in your passport, have to check for my wife. Does it have a seal or written in pen or printed in passport?
