Hello Pankaj, I was born and brought up in the United Arab Emirates. My passport has been issued from Dubai in 2006. I came back to India to get my visa changed to an employment visa. My Emigration status on my passport states Emigration Check Not Required with a Stamp which says ECNR TRI till the dependent minor attains the age of 24 years and there is no mention of ECR. My question is that Do I need the ECNR stamp if I want to go back as I have turned 25 yrs old just 9 days before travelling and that too on an employment visa.

You would need ECNR status as you are leaving India for employment in UAE. Your ECNR status expired once you crossed 24 years age.
