Hi I am Kiran. My passport has ECR stamped on it and I am a B.tech graduate and will be going to canada this september on student visa. My visa is printed on ECR passport. Do i need to apply for a new passport to get the ECR deleted? Then will the visa in the new passport will be valid or not? And also i booked my flight ticket with my old passport number. Will it be a problem? In future, with which passport number should I book my flight tickets? Please reply me query ASAP..
