You can buy online term insurance from ICICI or HDFC.
If investment period is 20 years, its better to invest into mix of equity diversified mutual funds and PPF for better returns. 70-80% investment can go to mutual funds ana rest into PPF.
You can start SIP into Large cap mutual funds like DSPBR Top 100 equity, Franklin India Bluechip or ICICI Pru top 100.
