Hi I have opened my ppf account with ICICI bank.I want to transfer money to my Public Provident Fund thru Online netbanking.. if I submit the print outs of my ppf account statement would i be getting tax benefits .. or pass book is mandatory.. please advise.

You can show print for online statement of PPF account. Showing passbook as proof is not mandatory.
It does not matter how you paid you amount, it should be invested into PPF account and you should get tax benefit u/s 80C.
