Hi Pankaj, is "Bill of Entry" (BOE) a compulsory customs document required to apply for payment in India? In other words, if I am importing an item into India and if I want to make payment in advance to the supplier, do I need a BOE in order to instruct my bank to pay? For your info, the goods are imported for further manufacturing process in India. Please advise.
