i got my passport in year 2008 with ECR. Now i need ECNR in passport.currnty residing in the same address which is in the passport..but my voters id, driving license, raition card are in my other address which defers from address in the passport.what are the other documents can be submitted in this case..please help me..

If you don't wish to get address changes, you need not to submit any address proof just for deletion of ECR.
Following documents would only be required:
- Old Passport in original with self-attested photocopy of its first two and last two pages, including ECR/Non-ECR page (previously ECNR) and the page of observation (if any), made by Passport Issuing Authority and validity extension page, if any, in respect of short validity passport
- Documentary proof for any one of the Non-ECR (previously ECNR) categories: Documents Required for Non-ECR
but passport seva kendra (coimbatore) informed me that, with out ration card/voters id with the same address, its very difficult to get ecnr...they will take, 10 days process,bcoz they need to get clearance from chennai RPO, as my passport issued by chennai..
If you are submitting passport reissue application to a different passport office (current address on passport does not fall into its area), then you would need to submit address proof as well. You would also need to get address also changed in new passport.
in my passport malaysia visa has been pasted..will they replace my old passport?...in that case hw can i get my vîsa back?
