ECR STAMPING TO ECNR STAMPING

dear sir,

I got offer in soudi, i also got VISA stamping on my passport few days back. but now the problem is my passport contains ECR stamping, i have enquired in passport office, they said i have to apply for reissue of passport for ECNR Stamping subsequently i will get a new passport with ECNR stamping. but visa stamping was done on my old passport. now i need to carry both passports? is there any problem? please let me know the easy way to solve this problem immediately. regards, Ajay - 9885715545

Passport needs to be re-issued for ECNR status. Procedure for it is same as a new passport application. Visa on old passport would still be valid and he needs to carry both new and old passports.

You can get emigration clearance from PoE office.
