Hi Pankaj, I ma an Engineer and have got the job in UAE. My passport was issued in 2012 and there is no ECNR stamp on it. My employer needs ECNR stamp on my passport for Visa processing. I am aware of the fact that all newly issued passports wont have ECNR stamps but only ECR if we fall under that category. Now my employer in Dubai needs to have ECNR stamp on my passport. Is there a way to get it? If not what could be the alternative? What should I do? Please advice I am totally confused. I am from Bangalore. email id: [email protected]
