Dear Pankaj,

Can you please elaborate what are the components of short term capital gains. Is the interest I earn on my saving banks account, bank FD's or rent received for a house comprise short term capital gains

The Interest Received would form a part of Income from Other Sources and the Rent Received would form a part of Income from House Property
