Dear Sir I have traveled to Kullu Mananli by hiring private taxi and i paid for it a sum of Rs. 15,000/-. I am availing LTA Rs. 13304/- which is CTC. Will this amount exempted under income tax act or not? please help

You can claim private taxi expense for leave travel allowance. But maximum income tax exemption you will get is public transport fare (train/bus/airfare) between cities traveled.
