Dear Mr Batra

Could you please tell me whether the Rs 70000 PPF Limit will fall in the Rs 100000 Bracket or the 50000 Bracket in the new Direct Tax Code.

Under new proposed Direct tax code, PPF would come in 1 lakh tax saving limits. Most probably limit of 70,000 would also be increased to 1 lakh.
