Tax Deduction on House Rent

Dear Pankaj,

I work in Ahmedabad and stay at a rented home there. My family is in my native place in Kerala and live in a rented house. Can I claim tax deduction for both the rents I am paying (my flat at Ahmedabad and my faily's house in Kerala)?

HRA exemption cannot be taken for more than one houses. You would be only to take benefit of house occupied by you, in Ahmadabad.
