Which mutual fund shall I purchase , also I want to start an SIP. is it a good time to invest?

Hello, I am new to this investment market but I have some surplus amount and want to invest so please can you suggest me which fund shall I invest in and is this a good time to invest? Also I want to start an SIP so which SIP shall I start with?

If you are young (in late 20's pr early 30's), you may look to invest 80% of your portfolio in equity funds like HDFC Top 200 Fund, ICICI Pru Discovery Fund, Reliance Equity Opportunities Fund.
