Deduction u/s 80 ccc

Hi,

Can a person get deduction u/s 80 ccc for the following plan:

Name: ICICI Pru Lifestage Pension Advantage Premium Amt: 50k payable pa

Hello, In this plan, yes a person can get deduction upto Rs. 100000/- (deduction u/s 80C + 80CCC + 80CCD cannot exceed one lakh)

After Direct Tax code (DTC) comes into play from April, 2012, this may not longer be available for tax deduction.
