Dear sir, my total earnings (after savings detections) were less then 1.60 lakhs.so i dont have any tax detuctions in this financial year(2010-11).Is there any necessary for me to file income tax return in online.Please, specify me the necessity of this tax return & if i am applicable,what is the last date for this submission. Hello, yes it is neccessary for filing the return u/s 139(1), if income(without claiming deduction under section 10A,10B,10BA,80C to 80U) exceed the amount of exemted slab. Therefor are neccesary to file the imcome tax return. and the last date of filing the return is 31st July, 2011
