How is Tata AIG Mahalife Gold as a whole life insurance plan? Am i really going to get a good income yearly from this till 100th year? Can someone please suggest any good whole life policy other than this which i ms really good.

Its not a good product for retirement planning. Its unfortunate that investment and insurance is mixed in India, which have altogether different purposes. Its better if you create your portfolio with investment in PPF, Fixed Deposits, Diversified Mutual funds, Post office monthly income plan, Gold and Property. Apart from these take Term insurance (pure insurance) and medical insurance along with accident/disability riders.
Thanks a lot Pankaj for your suggestion.... but can u please suggest some mutual funds where i can invest through SIP... i already invested in HDFC top 200 fund- Growth and Reliance Regular savings fund Equity for Rs. 1000 each and can invest another Rs 3000 monthly.
You can choose among Birla Sunlife Frontline equity fund, DSP Backrock Top 100 fund, ICICI Pru Discovery Fund, Sundaram Select Midcap and HDFC Equity Fund.
